CPDRC(Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center) inmates here made it big last year in YouTube after performing Michael Jackson's Thriller moves in sync,now it has grown to 14 million views. Wow!.
Then I also noticed some new additions. Here is the latest Souljah+MChammer. LOL. Notice also the viewers from the breaches, like watching a concert of some sort. I've read from a news that at the end of the two hour program, which is held the last Saturday of every month, visitors can have their pictures taken with the prisoners. They can also buy souvenir prison shirts. Yay! Is this really prison or a tourist destination? Hahaha.
I believe it is part of their exercise, instead of the regular morning exercises, they are taught dancing lessons instead. If I will be going to prison, then maybe I would request for a tranfer there. Haha.

Pinoy's got talent
I saw this news about a Pinay working in the UK who entered in the competition Britain's Got Talent so I searched for her performance in YouTube. Her singing was great and her story added more to the drama, good entertainment is based on how your audience will react to your show. I salute her for coming this far and wish that she go on further.

Star Tollway Extension
The Star tollway extension is open, it now extends from Sto. Tomas to Batangas City, although the north bound lane is still under construction as well as the other exits. The Batangas City exit is then connected to the Balagtas diversion road which makes traveling to and from Batangas City a lot faster minimizing traffic from the nearby cities and towns. I have read somewhere that the cuenca bridge is also open now.

Earth Day April 22, 2008
So today is Earth Day. Here in the Philippines it is tagged as "Agos:Earth Day 2008" with the theme "Tubig buhay natin, ating pagyamanin".
As we all know, many of the diseases occurring the Philippines today is with connection to our water sources. This is one of those days that we are reminded to take good care of our Mother Earth and protect the environment.
In line with this Earth day celebration, I stumble upon a news about a group of freshman students from ADMU that will represent the Philippines in the Imagine Cup Tournament sponsored by Microsoft in Paris, France this coming July. The GIGO(Garbage In, Garbage Out) program they presented won 1st runner here(Ph). It like a database of Trash/Garbage with its corresponding descriptions, health risks, proper disposal, and recycling. Yay! Good thinking. Hope this program will be up online soon to help our citizens be more aware of the hazards of their trash and help save our dear Earth.

Just finished watching Naruto Shippuuden episode 55.
I cant stop comparing how Naruto is becoming stronger while watching the shippuuden alongside the locally aired old naruto episodes. From the little naruto to the big naruto, from a weak to a strong, from a nobody to a somebody, from an outcast to a hero.
I can't wait for the next episode.

Pinoys are starving
Watching the news today makes me think what ignited this "rice shortage" and increase in price of other products. Every week the prices keeps getting higher and the media is very good in headlining the news to panicking viewers, as the saying goes "bad news sells". I think it will not be long till the finger pointing begins, but who is really to blame? Do you know that in terms of land area we are ranked 72nd but in terms of population we are ranked 12th? Now I won’t really be surprised if the food supply will be short, it’s just happening earlier than some of us think. Another problem here is that most of those who belong to the poor are also the ones who tend to have more children.
Our population is increasing tremendously but the land area is not. More and more lands will be filled with houses, buildings, establishments and factories thus increasing waste, garbage and pollution. Inversely proportional to these increase are the area of our forest, rivers, and farms thus decreasing our food supply thus the shortage. In a shortage like this, many problems will also rise; companies closing, workers loosing jobs, crimes increasing, etc. etc... If we are not going to do something about the country’s population growth the same problems will just keep on reoccurring.
More is not always merrier.

Detective Conan (nights of mysteries)
For the past weeks I've been watching this great anime. I recalled how I was looking for it through various video uploads and sites late last year. Almost every night I get to watch two or three episodes before I go to bed. I love watching mysteries and stuffs. You can visit this site which offers the links to this anime. I read somewhere that the english version is titled "Case Closed" due to a name conflict with "Conan the Barbarian".
Ow, some links are broken and some videos are not available anymore. I suggest you take a look if the episode's other parts are available before watching the "Part 1". You can also click on the video to take you directly to the megavideo site and watch at a little wider screen plus erasing the megavideo display which makes the subs hard to read sometimes.

We are short on RICE!
I’ve been eating in this small cafeteria for the past few months, the prices of my meal doesn’t seem to change much so I just bring with me almost the exact amount of what I expect that I would be having. Yesterday was just the same, I walked down the stairs, and then walked a couple more meters and eureka! There I was.
The place is crowded, as I expected. After finding a vacant seat, I ordered Adobo,2 orders of rice, ginatang langka, and a bottle of coke. I never mind how noisy others were, gossiping about their respective crushes in their campuses, that one girl on the other table so wanted to talk to that person yet doesn’t have the courage to do so. How her companions are giving her a push and promised to help the poor girl. How they said that “if you’re not going to talk to him now, you’ll not going to have another chance, it’s already vacation.” Nahhhh…I’m not paying attention to those things. I just sit there and continue my purpose.
After finishing my meal, I went to the counter and was surprised that my meal cost more than usual. I just remembered that reports are saying our rice stocks are low, oww so that explains it, and PGMA and others are looking for ways of increasing it. Despite the efforts of some to boosts rice stocks, others are using this incident to profit more for themselves. The modus operandi: buying low priced NFA rice, and re-bagging them at different sack labels, then offering them at, of course, higher prices. Good thinking, as one of my friends will say it “tubuan sana kayo ng %$%$ sa noo.”
For now I’m thinking to go on a diet. What do you think?

Levelupgames opens its new server (Serpent) to accommodate the volume of new players for Perfect World (PH), there are also those coming from both Tiger and Dragon servers. It offers a fresh start, new friends, new allies, new foes, and new lands to conquer.
